Importing your data
Fluidify takes over the data from your old software or your spreadsheets, without re-keying.
What can be imported
Customers, sites, contacts, equipment, suppliers, supplier references, stock, refrigerant cylinders, leak checks and contracts.
Preparing the file
- One CSV or Excel file per type of data, with a header row.
- The most common column names are recognised automatically (for example "Raison sociale", "SIRET", "Code postal"); the others are matched by hand.
- For customers, a single row can describe both the customer and its service site.
Importing
- Open the list concerned (for example Customers and sites), then Import.
- Drop the file: Fluidify suggests how the columns match.
- Check the preview: each row is checked (company numbers, postcodes, refrigerants, dates).
- Correct or skip the rows with errors, then confirm.
The import report shows what was created, updated or skipped. Existing customer codes are kept.
Tips
- Start with customers and sites, then equipment, then contracts: each import builds on the previous ones.
- For refrigerants, import the cylinders in stock before the leak checks already carried out.
- Duplicates are flagged during import and can be merged afterwards in the CRM.
